Ima keep this simple.
The maw sucks, everyone knows that. Phasing makes it absolutely painful. I am sick of doing Wrath of the Jailer / Hunts alone because blizzard refuses to turn off phasing in the maw.

“You must all enter the maw together” for a zone that encourages group content was a bad idea.

But I’d love to see phasing in the mushroom quests.
Ride the ring when everything is dead or someone is in front killing everything.
Leave quest and start over 4 or 5 times with the same results.

That would be nice. The only time I ever see anyone at all in the maw is when I go Tuesday. Literally the only day of the week I’ll even step into the maw since we can’t even use our ground mounts in there. Though, I will admit, that visiting the maw is considerably less painful on Rogues/Cat Druids.
It’s a ridiculous situation, I was unable to complete a quest boss with a group because I was phased away from them. Even if we were like 10m apart. Where is the logic in that?
