Phasing issues/absent NPC's in Southern Barrens

Game: Cata Classic
Issue: Nura Pathfinder, Kilrock Gorehammer, other NPC’s missing.

I reported this issue via in-game ticket two days ago. Over the course of the last two days, and at the advice of various Blizz employees, I attempted several “solutions.”

  1. I tried dropping “Warchief’s Command: Southern Barrens” and picking up “Clear the High road.” This did not help.
  2. The second employee recommended that I complete all the quests in Malaka’jinn. I took it a step further and completed every main story quest in Stonetalon. This did not help.
  3. With no solution, a Game Master finally responded and told me to do “Clear the High Road.”

So, to recap, after two days and three Blizzard employees, the final result was to tell me to do the quest that I can’t do because the NPC is missing.

ugh?? These are the same NPC’s missing for me. I have like 5 quests to turn in. What was weird was, Kilrock showed up after I went and got the Warchiefl’s command quest, so Kilrock gave me all his quests, but they were bugged, kinda. The one where you take the ropes down the side and back up, the ropes were never there, I had to run down the click then go around and up the mountain without ropes. Guess what though, Kilrock is gone now, I’ve ran up and down southern barrens 3 times. This is crap. Holgom is also missing.

the entire zone is broken. nura pathfinder is missing. if you attempt to skip her quests it will phase you out at Holgom, and if you skip that it will phase you out at hunter’s hill. once you’re phased out of the zone, all the quests are gone. i actually completed the first five quests but holgom’s rope didn’t work, so i couldn’t get back up the cliff. I ran around and despite all quests being complete and ? marks on the maps where the quest givers were supposed to be, they were phased out.

Same here. Tried abandoning quest and re-took it. Flew back to hunter hill and took quests before I went to find her. Did quests but no npc’s to turn them in to. This whole thing is a dead end…

@Kalyalindele: That’s almost verbatim what the GM’s recommended I do as well. The only difference was the Southern Barrens quest was never available to me on the Warchief board. I even went to TB and UC just in case, and it wasn’t on any of the Warchief boards there either.

And she’s still not there. I got so frustrated, I skipped Southern Barrens entirely, and went straight to Dustwallow Marsh
