Phasing Issue

I am doing Loremaster on my 120 DH and have an issue.

Issue:
I am in the Dread Waste region and I have the following quests “Bound with Wood, Kor’thik Aggression, and Wood and Shade”… When I start to enter the area the mobs (level 90) and objectives I need fade out and when I get to the Wood and Shade area they are all 120 mobs…

What I Have Done:
I have unloaded all addons, set the timeline in the Vale to present and past and tried it on my 120 Mage and it does the same thing on both toons…

Any Ideas

There may be an NPC around that you can talk to that will revert the zone to pre-8.3, similar to the guys that do that to cata zones

It maybe that you haven’t complete the vale chain quest that requires you to complete some quests in Dread Wastes.

I would do the weekly and see if Taoshi has a quest - this should lead you to the Dread Wastes chain which after you complete they should go back to normal.

@Creacher she has done that for the vale~

There is in the Vale and I have reset it multiple times, I will look around Dread but I have done all the storylines before this one with no issues… Thanks for replying…

The issue is still happening. And I get GMs saying “you abandoned the quest, duh”.
Ofc I did. The zone is phased, why would I not abandon the quest? It is impossible to complete the quests Katalinia mentioned because the entire north zone of Dread Wastes is phased with level 120 mantid mobs.

I’m having this issue also. Quite annoying as this is the last zone that I need for Loremaster. I’m going to try doing the Once More Into Kor’vess quest chain and see if that fixes the issue.

It seems that completing the level 120 quest chain starting with Reflections in Amber fixes the issue. It worked for me at least.

august 2024 and still broken :confused:

edit: NOT broken simply start this area with the quests from taoshi at the wall she will have u go stealth etc in the quests so u know ur on the right track then when u turn in to the mogu u can fly to the tree in dreadwastes and it will be in the correct phasing
