Phasing in Valdrakken is Harmful for EVERYONE

The other day, I finally got the black dragon option for my dragon and I was so excited to show it to my friends. I asked where they were and flew over only to have the realization set in that that we were phased and I’d have to ditch my own just to show off in person.
Phasing doesn’t really help anyone and makes the game feel more isolated. What happened to blizzard’s wishes of filling up the crafting tables with people working together? I hardly ever see anyone at the Jewelcrafting stand or people actively participating. Which would probably be less of an issue if we actually just let go of phasing and allow cities to feel populated. Especially with people’s desires on RP servers to Roleplay in Valdrakken. Kinda hard to find RP when there are so many phases. It’s also hard to actually play the features of the game like that hidden tag game within Valdrakken or the multiplayer racing.

For reference, I am on a realm that is FULL. As I write this I flew around and counted only 36 people. 36

I know full well this game isn’t dead but why does Blizzard want us to think that? They want this emphasis on community but divide us constantly with their nonsensical phasing.

Please stop the phasing, Blizzard. Let your world be lively. Let it be full.

Next time invite them to a group and bam phasing is fixed.

Unshard/Unphase RP servers pls. I’m sitting in a practically empty SW right now and the scene is sad.

I think you missed the point of the post.

I’m not sure anyone did miss the point of the post.

Put too many people in a zone, and it overloads the hamsters cranking away at powering their servers.

Maybe just a bit fewer phases or phasing things a bit differently would help? I have totally seen places that look way too empty and I know people should be around and also played on a terrible computer where I wish there were less people around.
