OSRS does minor updates based around community feedback and voting? Why not do the same with era? Minimal dev time, the community will dictate any updates, taking certain things off the dev workload. It’s a win win situation. HC is cool and all, but the fad will eventually die or become side content that ends up going to one of the main realms on death anyway.
Imo Jagex already did the work for you just follow their lead.

Minimum req to vote Vanilla Era changes should be 6 month old account sub.
I think having an active level 60 on era would be enough imo. 6 months is a lot. If somebodies gone through the journey of reaching max in Vanilla they deserve a voice.

Do you think that non-HC WoW Classic will ever have more streamable content than HC Classic?
Or perhaps streaming and streamable content hasn’t been as large a contributing factor to the resurgence of WoW Classic as say Ulduar having some somewhat difficult encounters.
I dont find WoW in general to be a good streamable game.
I think its a mixture of HC and a lot of 2019 andys being disgruntled about Wrath. Theres also a ton of people who didnt play Classic until recently with the Classic Era hype and HC. The only aspect of Ulduar that pushes people towards era is how long it remained current lmao.
Imo make that /played @60 of so many hours, a certain amount of account constant subscription, and in respect to Classic Era a minimum of Molten Core / BWL or R11+.
Reason being that if you dont put in some standards the botters will get to vote them selves in some kinda bot farm garbage that furthers their coiner farming.
We would be playing Classic Era’s Phase 8 by now if less people were duped into tbc/wrath retail progression servers.
