Why are we bringing azerite gear into SOD?
Why do we need this whole timeworn nonsense?
Can we get Dev time spent on things worth discovering/are fun.
That’d be pretty cool u know hey.
Not excited/Looks sh1t
We just wanted tier sets.
Thats all, cheers.

Azerite?
Timeworn?
What are you talking about?
Can you elaborate on your issues?
The ring from Blood, g’ets a little bonus from every timeworn you use.
Its a tiny bonus for som classes and otheres it really goood!
I like that every phase we got a lot of ways to gear.
WE know AQ gear demand reputation so nothing new here, it just a new added to your items.
For me Gear in SoD is the Big win, WE get it faster and it more fun as no one kones 1oo% what is BiS befor we get your hands in to it.
So saying this is like azerite is taking it to the extream, as all the bad things azerite have, have nothing to do with the new timeworn.
Alle the bad stoff with AQ gear is from Og Vanilla and you Can even get free rep on a silverplatter!
It like the new trend, poop and cry on every thing. It need to stop!
My biggest gripe is typical. In any version of WoW you grind for a thing that is basically irrelevant by the time you get it. Tier 0.5 requires more time and effort than joining a pug raid. I like the quest chain, but it is pretty irrelevant by the time you complete it. As a non-raider (dungeons only with friends), crafting items could be a huge, tantalizing progression path except they get locked away behind the raids somehow and most people who could craft items don’t need to because they have the drops from the raid itself.
I just don’t even get why MMOs can’t be more about the entire world, attracting all sorts of people with all sorts of playstyles, time commitments, skill levels, dedication levels, etc. I hate that for over a decade now WoW has existed as an MMO constantly trying to incorporate moba psychology into it. I wish they’d either branch out to alternate playstyles (which is what drew me to SoD and felt like it was for a while), or just rip off the bandaid, be a MMOBA without any leveling, discovery, or the veneer of an RPG.
It’s exhausting because of how many ways any version of this game could be better but isn’t because the game has had an identity crisis since August 4, 2009.

The washing machine of gear. They think that if players don’t upgrade certain pieces every week they’ll get bored and leave.
Which isn’t exactly the case. Players just want new content. But Blizzard has showed us they’re far too incapable of bringing that to us without massive financial incentives like DLC or Cash Shop items.
It’s far easier to rewrite some stats on pieces of loot in comparrison. And unless they finely tune the gear, they need to make it attractive stat wise as well. Thus the cycle of reaching insane millions of dps has started.

I will agree that the 0.5 set was a total joke. Wasn’t worth the effort with no FR and with how fast T1 was dropping, it didn’t last you long.
I will say I’ve liked what they’ve done with the Draconic and Core Forged set bonus at least. Makes it a little easier to mix/match without breaking set bonuses.

They know that all the classic players left sod. It’s only retail players now and they’re more welcoming to that
I guess they just couldn’t handle ClassicPlus.
It’s a ploy to get everyone on fresh where the air is bliss
