Phase 5 - What's New?

This is an honest question, what is new other than a couple dungeons and copy/pasting SoM mechanics? A couple Mythic+ affixes?

We got NO profession updates, NO new open world event, NO new zones, NO PvP updates, NO new runes and more.

It is so painfully obvious that they are rushing this content to meet their deadlines (via the roadmap they posted) and it hurts. Now classic people are going to be forced to either play Cata or SoD instead of switching back and forth because blizz is forcing themselves to push content for the stock holders.

I don’t even know if they can save most of the things you want. They have obliterated the economy and trivialized most of the game. The only minor saving grace would be to actually come through with some fun NEW raids which are apparently not a priority

Yeah not an actual difficulty dunno why they are so scared just to do normal heroic :sweat_smile:

I said a few weeks ago that it’s impossible to mess up BWL + ZG phase I guess we’ll see how low they can get :sweat_smile:

They literally said “Even more awaits you in Season of Discovery Phase 5, and we look forward to sharing additional information in the lead up to the September 26th launch”. Just relax and wait

Given all of ZG was revamped to be epic, it would be very unusual of them to leave the crafted items out of ZG as unusable blue items. With three weeks to go, we still have no idea where any of the new items datamined are coming from, if we’re getting any of the three new dungeons, where we go to get the class-specific weapon items, etc. Some of this stuff may never hit PTR.

Yall need to just chill.

Calling it now. P5 will terrible. Even with the 3 color alterations, excluding black, BWL will be steamrolled. AFAIK, the black difficulty doesn’t add anything new. It’s just treated as another “color”. Might as well just do the raid with the 3 easiest ones for the most gear and easiest time.

As lazy and stupid as the hard FR check was for MC, it gave people something to work towards for an extra … week or 2. lol.

You mean they’re rushing SOD to hurry up and wash their hands of it.

There’s no way they keep up these embarrassing projects after SOD lol.

Players have lost faith in the devs, rightfully so. The higher-ups probably have too.

paladins are once again donning the dress so that’s an improvement. worth coming back to for that alone i’d say

Hopefully they’ll just speed this up so it can end and we can get a non gated classic fresh or hc ssf server.
