I can guarantee this with 99% certainty. The days in-between original vanilla line up with the days of all the other phase drops back in original. Therefor, 114 days will pass after ZG for the launch of AQ.

But there is actually a unique opportunity with classic that defies the rule you’re applying when it comes to releasing content. They can use it as filler content in between expansions for retail. Despite what you think about retail, a great number of people are currently playing classic in anticipation for shadowlands. Should they want to delay shadow lands, to let’s say, 2021. What’s the best way for them to do this while keeping subscriptions up? The obvious answer is to release AQ40 in classic sometime around late Oct. With a launch for shadow lands in January.
There is really no reason for them to follow traditional release dates with classic if they’re being strategic in maximizing profits.

They have yet to release any content later than they originally did on vanilla. It has actually been about 2 weeks early on each content patch. Thus, Oct is not gonna happen.
My guess based on Shadowlands is that about 3 months into it they will release TBC Classic (to buy them time with SL for the content drought)

days from DM release to BWL
- Vanilla = 127
- Classic = 120
days from BWL release to ZG
- Vanilla = 63 days
- Classic = 63 days
Seems they only expedited the release of DM and have stayed true since. And if you played WoW in EU, even the DM release was right on time.
That said, BWL was the first raid heavy on strategy & learning the fights, so it would make sense to cut out some time between BWL and AQ since we didnt need any such time to learn anything in classic.
They didn’t really even do that. Seems more like they averaged the days from launch it came out in the US and the days from launch it came out in EU. DM was on day 1 of EU release.
So even DM release was vanilla like, or an average of vanilla-likeness.
That would be a bum. ZG and BWL feel so old already.

This isn’t even an actual thing…you haven’t had a classic experience from day one or did you not know you’ve had 1.12 talents and itemization from the start of classic? Just this right here completely changed how every felt. That didn’t happen in vanilla, vanilla didn’t have mega servers either. I could literally go on and on about how different this is to actual vanilla.
have to remeber tho just cause they put P5 out doesn’t mean you going to get into AQ that same week…or month for some severs
