Phase 4 delay is destroying guilds

No one wants to keep playing the same, single raid for 8 more weeks.

Please release Phase 4 so everyone that hasn’t quit, doesn’t quit. This delay is absolutely killing the raiding community.

People don’t “Play WoW”, they play SoD or WoW:Classic or Retail. Stop assuming people want to play various versions of the game at the same time. We don’t.

They can’t release what they haven’t developed. How is that such a hard concept to understand?

I just want news, what they plan, how the classes will be updated etc…

Silence killed my want to play.

I’m complaining about their development priorities, not what has or has not been built yet. How is that such a hard concept to understand?

Edit: I’m OP - swapped to my SoD character.

They had a schedule and they didn’t meet it. They should have been using all this time during phase 3 to stay on that schedule. They’ve hardly done any balancing as well for phase 3 so clearly the resources have been allocated elsewhere.

Destroyed.

Like discord chat going dead silent for days. Nothing meaningful to do to on your main and alts are a non starter due to prices and tedium.

I did finally level another Warlock since it doesn’t look like FCM’s are going to open back up and went 1-50 over the holiday weekend. No lifed it quite a bit but still had time to meet with 2 friends for drinks and/or dinner and breakfast. Still touched SOME grass.

I bought very little gear leveling though (just whatever was cheap) so fortunately locks are fairly tanky with MC/haunt and could keep myself alive while doing pretty bad dps. Felguard had a much easier time keeping aggro while I had terrible gear.

And AH prices are just all over the place, so you need to just be patient and wait if something is priced too high. I was able to level engineering for around 150g. Tailoring so far I’ve just leveled while accumulating cloth. Need to get to 250 for shoulders so might spend a little but I have a ton of silk cloth so should be able to get close to 200 without spending anything.

Gear I am just using the emerald set. I’ll slowly accumulate better gear and really, just wanna get to a good enough place to make the 60 grind easy. I’ll do the BIS run at 60 with the lock.

The guild I was in and the friends I made in it were the best part about SoD

P4 will probably not bring many of them back either tbh

SoD will never be the same without them so it’s harder for me to want to go back myself now too

Their classic roadmap from last year has P4 launching in summer, after Cata. Summer starts in late June. So, yes, by asking them to release p4 now you’re asking them to release something (that clearly isn’t developed) well ahead of schedule.

And, let me guess, if they released it prematurely and it was terrible (which it would be), you’d also be on here complaining about how bad p4 was.

Waiting an extra month or so isn’t going to kill anyone.

We’re already in p5 waiting room.

You’re right, no one will die. But many guilds will.

It’s not the developers fault. It’s the product owner/team leader/management’s fault.
Cata should have been delayed until release of phase 4 imo.

if your guild melted this fast, then it was only a matter of time before someone getting the wrong piece of loot caused a guild fracturing event.

Plenty of guilds are doing fine.

Once again…Cata’s hilariously bad release caused them to shift from P4’s development to fixing Cata.

And no, it was was not the Devs’ decision to do Cata. Devs don’t get to make those sort of calls. – They were told [to keep the money train rolling].

Don’t believe your eyes, everything is fine, trust me.

Factually guilds are dying. By dying we mean, not logging in.

Given the amount of raid parses being loved dropping dramatically…it is a fact.

Clerics for alliance have been confirmed and are slated to be available on the ptr for rune testing in the coming yestereves

They’re probably still working on the 60 content which is a shame, but they should at least release 60 and the dungeons / pre BiS content and just leave the raids locked for a bit to give them the extra time they need and the players something new and exciting to do.

SOD was never meant to be sustainable with 4 developers on the SOD team.

good why would they waste a bunch of time balancing when were not 60 yet?

I still haven’t figured out why some of you think a seasonal version should take priority over the one that has almost 5 years worth of guilds & communities built up.

A huge portion of the SoD playerbase just chase fresh. You guys dont invest in the game the same way.
