Phase 2A : Diremaul
Phase 2B: Honor system
Could we please get a phase 2C: BATTLE GROUNDS! at least one please.

The game is dying. The only way to save it is to actually release PVP content.

if you want pvp just play on a pvp server you have an entire world to pvp in.
So why is Diremaul getting released so quick? Oh because people are quitting the game.
cuz that is the timeline …
PvP content is in game now. Go enjoy it.
Honor system will add to that content.
BGs will detract from that content. Let it ride for a little while. Some people actually enjoy PvP without BGs and this is a small window for that.
Clearly that time line got scraped.

I rolled on a PvE server because I didn’t want to deal with ganking. This was my choice and I don’t regret it. I am very much looking forward to battlegrounds because they were something I enjoyed back in the day and I would like to experience that again.
Having said that, I think it’s ok to wait. Classic has been out for what, a little over a month? I think we maybe all need to exercise a little patience. Truth be told, I’m surprised they pushed Dire Maul more quickly than intended. I think it sets a bad precedent.

It’s because phase 2 is much further out than they anticipated.
They also want to streamline the experience because if they hold too much content off to phase 2, then they won’t be able to get a good metric for players who are just waiting to come back later. Leading to layering again being necessary. By releasing dire maul early they’ll know people who want to play the content are sticking around and not waiting to come back for it specifically, at the same time world pvp is released.
So basically we have 0 metric for PVP until the Honor system is released…
So lets change Phase 2C to Honor system and not battle grounds. This will give us data on who is and isnt PVPing .
