So after playing sod at 25 and leveling a few alts and running BFD, I am seeing a issue when players hit 40. Is it just going to be a carbon copy of what we are doing now? The quests at 40 will dry up very fast due to the mount. The pvp zone maybe STV and maybe the highlands, i hope they will address the issues that plague Ashenvale.
My wishlist is a new 5 man for gearing up. At least one, I know they won’t but I hope. Thoughts were something like a goblin one from either Booty Bay or Tanaris next at the one quest hub on the coast. IDK seems like a cool lore area.
Also some form of weekly or daily quest hub.
Duel Spec: I was thinking like a long questline like what you did for the warlock Meta, make it different for each class/race idk that was a PITA but after doing it I felt like I did something!
Also world boss and or a Ony type of raid type boss. Would be cool a 40/20 man so the guild raid teams have one type they all raid together.
My hope is this isn’t just a cash grab with a few retail spells added in and a delayed release of recycled content. I hope we can see a change in the timeline and do some new stuff.
To all what is your wish list for Phase 2 and beyond?
I like the idea of new content but hope they don’t force a 20 or 40 man content on people because it might kill some guilds that can’t pull 20 or 40 in a night. Flex raiding might be the option going from 10-40 and scaling somewhere in there. I would love to be able to do MC and BWL with a 10-15 man roster rather than wrangling 40 people through that stuff. 3 day lockouts are awesome as well so I hope they keep it all on that rotation even through the stuff that was normally 7 day.
I want gear to be appropriately scaled for the content and to have BFD on no lockout, or a 1 day lockout.
Lots of the gear in there is going to be better than most dungeon gear.
My wishlist: Shattering Throw.
Paladins got too much in P1 and there needs to be something in P2 to knock them down a peg.

I’d like to see runes that buff shamans buffing potential. Losing WF duty to druids is going to be a major blow, and it was disappointing that paladins got better versions of some of our unique buffs.
Enh and ele should be fine with 31 point talents being available and tanks will probably perform fine as is. Resto will probably need some love to compete with priests. But yeah, runes buffing our totems is mainly what I want.

Aint no way they’re making new dungeons. Kara crypts if it happens are the exception for already being built and just needing mobs to populate. I would like them to maybe retune some of the dungeons to have a tighter level curve, but even that im kinda leery of. I can’t see myself caring one bit about any gear from dungeons though, they’re just going to be exp farms so I can do my quests at cap instead. I’m sure the best gearing method will be to keep clearing BFD 2-3 times a week and then move into Gnomer.
I want skilled developers for phase 2. Not just some dude who doesn’t know about math and loves paladins

Shaman: Spell crit/hit totem, Spell Damage/Healing totem.
Good.
Base vanilla WoW gear was made by people whose first attempt it was at making a video game. Itemization was awful. BFD at least has good itemization that feels “Classical” but isn’t actually terrible.
The problem IMO is that it negates a lot of interest in running dungeons as well as completely throws of the progression curve based on limited RNG.
Like in 8 runs across two characters I have gotten 1 piece of gear.
Which is fine normally when it’s a small jump, RNG gonna RNG, however this is not like going from tier 0 to tier 1, it’s like going from tier 0 to AQ in one jump.
Not perfect analogy obviously but I hope my intent is clear.
