Sept 28 is the leaked date, and allow me to explain why. There are multiple high quality leaks sources (not just simple unverified leaks on MMO champion) that subtly reference WoW TBC and its development. Today, I found one that directly leaks Phase 2’s release date. As such the evidence was already sitting there for years, but nobody put the pieces together.

This is a subtle reference to the extended maintenance debacle in Prepatch, where it was delayed to 1 am, 2 am and then released at 3 am. Hence, third.

August 2020, then in Spring 2021, then August 2021.

This one is pretty simple, let’s break it down.
