A lot of people are stuck on servers that are not good FOR THEM. If we have paid transfers, we the player can choose which server to go on. If we want to go to a high pop queue server, then enjoy the queue. If we want to go on a majority horde server, then enjoy that too. But the important part is we get to pick where we want to spend our time.
The launch and the events that happened left me feeling like I got screwed, I got forced to play on a server where the majority was horde and the alliance side is dead (kirtonos) and I wanted a balanced or alliance majority server (I am horde btw) because I enjoy being outnumbered. This is because I had no say in what would happen to the server, and I had no info because none was given and the info we had was purposefully destroyed (census app).
I am not going to reroll 20 days of playtime because I got baited into a bad server by the actions of blizzard (free transfers made alliance pop way smaller, free transfers also was not given deadlines so I missed two of the transfers to Heartseeker and Earthfury).

There are a few other solutions, but I don’t think Blizzard will want to do them, so this is the best way since Blizzard also makes money. Take my money for your mistakes Blizzard. 30$ transfer lets go.

It might happen, that’s hundreds of thousands of dollars in transfer money/profit.
Lately, many things that Blizzard does surprise me, so be ready.
If they did release paid transfers I would use it.

no downsides, its 100% the players fault where they go now, no one can complain, blizz makes money. Just do it before phase 2 please.
Maybe I could be for really expensive paid transfers. So expensive that those of us who don’t want to transfer would get a lower monthly charge.
yes the cost of it will deter ppl from spamming it, while others who are affected more by their realm choice can use it.
Kirtonos is fine, there are a ton of Alliance, just look at wowclassicpopulation. There are a lot of Alliance still leveling.

when i looked there horde was still way higher… idk… plus that thing requires addon right? doesn’t seem very accurate.
