Maybe get some sleep?

Personally, I still have a bunch of stuff to get done in both SoD and Classic before their respective updates (P2 and Cata).

Its not vague at all. They told you Late Jan to Early Feb. When they have a solid date they will tell us. SoD isn’t even a month old yet and you’re fatigued!?

They said winter. Winter is Dec 21st to March 19th. That is incredibly vague. With a 3 day reset on the raid, and the raid nerfed to blindfolded levels. This content is getting old and fast. Last week we ran without a tank, and had 0 wipes.

They already said they expect P1 and other phases to last about 8-12 weeks. An overwhelming majority of players have not completed the raid. Heck, I’ve had personal friends who just hit 25 yesterday. Remember that this iteration of WoW has not been out even 30 days yet.

Just because you’re burning through the game quickly and are having these achievements does not mean that others are.

Slow down, play an alt, farm gold, or something else. I want more to do, but I also understand I’m part of a very small set of players who have completed most of the content.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw an early February release, but Blizzard isn’t going to provide a date because they’re still working through their development cycles. I imagine we’ll hear news about the upcoming phase by the end of January.

I’ve done significantly smaller releases on other products and have hesitated to put on dates due to complexities that may arise during the development.

Under promise and over deliver

Heck, I didn’t even start SoD until a night or two ago because my RP tarot readings in XIV were slow (and I realized I could just tweak the wording on that specific Carrd and even do them on WoW. Especially with this new deck…)

They can take as long as they need to in my opinion. I still have to get my Priest here to 25 and do the fun gearing part. Then I’d like to level a Druid (who I’ll be using for my tarot!)

I just have the attention span and memory of a goldfish so… it’s difficult for me to just focus and do things.

Level an alt
With different professions
Lots of variety to keep you busy. Or take a break.

its a paid beta test. they cant tell you because the content isnt done.

I personally just want to see what Runes are coming. I can wait for release. That’s no problem. But I would love to see if I’m going to be able to play 2h Shaman finally.

Hopefully longer that you want. Try an alt or not playing

No earlier than Jan 11, when ruby sanctum launches.

Realistically, not earlier than 2 weeks after that

Damn what did I just walk into, lol. I came here in hopes of maybe finding any info on any new updates on a possible release date so I can plan my vacation time. It’s a jungle in here sheesh lol

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

Today is the first day back to work after the holidays. How about give them a week or so to get updates rolling to the community?

I suspect it all ties into the theme of “discovery”, they want it swamped in mystery. Also, I suspect the hype for sod adds layers of stress d/t it’s success- it complicates the creative process. A good example would be with a book author working on a book series. Book one is awesome, so the stress on making future books as good becomes higher. A example: “Name of the”… wait won’t name any names. Just be patient- winter is coming.

Let’s make it less vague, Winter ends March 20, spring is March 21-June 20, Summer is June 21-Sept 20 and fall is Sept 21-Dec 20, so look on the map and see it falls near the end of winter but not quite so lets say Middle of February beginning of March, that’s what it looks like to me and that is about a 3 week window, but I am certain others will disagree because people love to argue.
// to add in a guess I think it will be March 5th or March 12th as they usually are on the late side of the schedule with content releases. //
