Phase 1 TBCC Feels Like Classic Phase 6 Drought

The problem is SSC/TK raids came out with phase 1 in original TBC and people weren’t optimization nutjobs so they didn’t clear even Magtheridon on the 1st week like they did in TBCC. Blizz thinks if they stagger releases of raids apart more, people will stay subbed for longer. What they don’t realize is a lot of people will feel that nostalgia goggles disappearing as they grind out these dgs and heroics and quit altogether.

But if you think THIS is the phase 6 drought, just wait until Sunwell Plateau comes out. Tail end of xpac typically have a lot of guild breaker raid content that destroys a lot of guilds and typically capable players and sweatier guilds usually survive. It’s not easy for non-sweaty players to find a consistent raid spot that late into the phase if you already aren’t in a sweaty guild clearing every content you’ve come across. And a lot of the sweatier guilds have been practicing on and off private servers for the past 10-15 years.
