Pets unaffected by Hibernate, Poly, etc. Pvp

Im looking to avoid problems like druids hibernate and mages polymorph when using a pet. No clear information ingame that states which tameable pets are beast, dragonkin, or w/e else there is.

SO. any idea which hunter pets can avoid these types of CCs? I know silithids cannot be hibernated but is that really it??

I haven’t seen any lists on this topic yet.

-Incapacitates
Imprison(dh)=demons, beasts, humanoids
Polymorph(mage)=beasts, humanoids, critters
Repentance(paly)=humanoids, demons, undead, dragonkin, giants
Sap(rogue)=humanoids, beasts, demons, dragonkin
Hex(shaman)=humanoids, beasts
Banish(lock)=demon, aberration, elemental
Shackle Undead(priest)=undead
Hibernate(druid)=beasts, dragonkin

I know most pets are beasts but itd be nice to know the classification of those that are not beasts.

pretty sure pets no matter the type are not immune to any cc.

I do not mind the counter play to be honest and believe it is good for the game. That being said you can still Bestial Wrath your pet out of most if not all of the above mentioned cc.

no you cant lol, it no longer works as a trinket or a cc breaker and the only thing it does with pvp talent is make it immune to fear.

It does for the pet only or if it is not supposed to then its a bug and removing cc from my pet anyway.

theres nothing about it on their site. Not even their forums. silithids definitely are not affected by hibernate is all i know atm. maybe theyre considered insects or something like that. ill try some testing. a complete test would take forever tho. theres gotta be some experienced hunters out there that have figured out atleast some of this.

What’s funny is our pets such as a cat can get Poly’d but a feral which is a cat can’t :joy::joy:

But I agree mages get owned by BM so being to counter our pets with a poly is good game play and needed

think i just noticed a recent stealth nerf/bug fix? my previously exotic silithid wasp lookin dude had 30% increased movement speed passive…but is now not exotic and is just a typical wasp without movement speed passive but the call pet thingy sais call silithid still…

just tested. cant sheep my mechanical sheep lol

undead pets are immuned to those things need special tome to tame them in maxx area
