Since the beggining of me using Kill Command I find the range buggy sometimes. Allow me to explain.
Some targets are too big, like Alar, Magtheridon or Gruul. Pet always try to position themselves the best they can to AUTO ATTACK them, while this IS in range, sometimes Kill Command IS NOT in range.
Kill Command is pet’s melee range.
How come my pet can be in range to auto attack but not to execute Kill Command?
PS: I tried to paste a link with proof of what I’m saying but doesn’t let me, even with the HyperLink option here in the post box, how can I do this?
It’s a spell you cast (a command you give), you need to be in range of your pet to cast it… that’s the problem (it’s silly but it’s the way it works). So on big bosses, and if you’re 40 yards away, and the pet is behind it on the other side, it can be out of range of the ‘spell’ you’re casting on your pet to get it to do KC. Solution is to get closer to your pet. Welcome to being a hunter! Back before they positioned behind the boss, things like this weren’t as noticeable. If you can’t heal your pet… KC won’t be in range (in my experience), the range for both is 45.
So you are saying me every time my KC was off range was because of me? Jesus im dum lol.
Ty a lot then!
Well, it’s not just you, it’s also because the pets try to go behind the boss so they don’t get hit by cleaves and what not, if the boss is facing you or to the side that can cause issues if you’re max range from the boss.
