PETS customizations

Hi,

I would like to see more customizations for our pets. Like when we go to the barbershop we can change the appearances of dark transformations and our pets. Just an idea.

I would love this!

Although, some would argue there’s glyphs, but the options there are so limited compared to the variety of undead that’s out there almost everywhere.

glyphs also have the downside of requiring an inscriptionist that has the recipe. i’ve swapped glyphs before only to be unable to swap back for a few weeks because the glyph i want isn’t on the AH.

Really??

EDIT: Wow and I necro’d this but looking at this word triggers me a bit.

Noun[edit]

inscriptionist (plural inscriptionists)

  1. One who inscribes; a writer of inscriptions.

You just made that up. The correct term is actually “Scribe.”

But it’s English, a language that borrowed from other languages.

So who knows? But even if it is a word that you made up, it still bothers me for some odd reason.

i pasted the definition from Wiktionary.

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/inscriptionist

but, more searching found this:

https://wikidiff.com/inscribe/scribe#:~:text=As%20verbs%20the%20difference%20between,while%20scribe%20is%20to%20write.

Inscribe is a related term of scribe.

As verbs the difference between inscribe and scribe

is that inscribe is to write or cut words onto something, especially a hard surface; to engrave while scribe is to write.

You do realize anyone can edit anything related to Wikipedia, right?

not entirely, wiki has levels of articles and entries. some stuff can be edited by anyone, but higher level entries can only be edited by community editors which are selected and have some level of vetting compared to the general public.

however, you need to put down the tin foil hat if you think im creating and editing wiki posts to do i don’t even know what because both scribe and inscriptionist are correct. kinda like flammable and inflammable.

if we want to get technical, blizz is wrong to call it inscription, as to inscribe is to engrave while a scribe writes, such as with pen and paper. wow’s inscriptionists are more correct to be called scribes because they put stuff on paper velums which goes into a spell book we could presume to be paper or parchment.

Let us tame undead similar to how hunters do. It can be cosmetic only , but id love some different skins.

Also warlocks should be able to tame demons in a similar manner

Maybe Raise Ghoul can be replaced with Control Undead for Unholy?
No more 5 minute timer for Unholy and we can still use Dark Transformation with it.
Or let us not lose our pet when we use Control Undead.
Like Frost and Blood can use their ghoul + control undead without the ghoul being replaced, why can’t Unholy?

Would totally give my little guy a mohawke and god damn he’d look dashing in a little tux and monocle

Hey moron… Its a word. yikes.

Really? You don’t say?

you seemed like you needed more convincing, since apparently google is too difficult for you to verify your own doubts.

Wow, you’re way in over your head.

“head isn’t a real word. You made it up”

lol okay bud.

Listen, I don’t know what your deal is but if you truly think that I don’t know that Inscriptionist isn’t a word, you’re abhorrently mistaken.

I know it’s a word. It’s not a commonly used term that me and Inemia just talked about.

You don’t have to insult me and try to accomplish something out of it, if there are any, otherwise you’re just being unpleasent.

Uh huh. Sure kid.

But Inscriptionist is not a commonly used term.

Give me a break. >_>
