Not sure why you think you would need to track all these things. The gameplay on alpha looks to be BtE on cd as it is your highest damage source by quite a bit. Playing that way alone negates tracking 90% of this, and we don’t even have any reason to track coins on live so not sure why we would track them in midnight. I dont believe they’ve added anything in yet to make this worthwhile.
Hidden blades is not something you can even track with the aura tracker as far as im aware, the WA to track it we have on live are janky and certainly will not function in midnight (for obvious reasons) so I’m not sure how much tracking of unseen we will really be doing, but I hope it remains trackable in some form to give outlaw some brain power.
I just disagree, on ptr right now RtB is a single buff with its strength based off the RNG of the roll. That means the roll rules (as we currently expect them anyway) will likely be if you get the first tier of the buff, reroll, if you get the second or higher keep it. No 6 buffs to track, no figuring out which buffs to keep and which to roll (even though if we are being honest we haven’t really done that since early DF).
And if tuning happens to increase the value of the higher buffs? It would increase our variance sure, which is why it would be a dumb change. But the rules are still simple? Now if you get a third tier or higher you keep, otherwise you reroll.
One single buff to track, press RtB and see the outcome and that tells you if you are rolling when it comes off cd or not right away and you have plenty of time to parse it. Really the most streamlined version of Rtb we’ve ever had.
