Petition to implement the new Lightning Bolt spell effects that have existed since late in Legion

Lightning Bolt is looking pretty flat and boring. There is a new spell effect that Blizz made for one of the later Legion patches, but it never got implemented. You can see NPC Shaman casting with the new effect in various areas, and I don’t understand why we can’t have it too. Show LB some love in the art department plz.

I support these two ideas.

Seriously, of the four hybrid classes (Paladin, Monk, Druid, Shaman) only Shaman cannot tank. It’s time, Blizzard.

I will always support more cooler visuals. Because when the next expansion comes out, I am sure we will be forgotten and be terrible for the first patch. Again. As that is now becoming tradition.

And if I can at least look cool, I can survive.

They both literally have a caster spec. They can dps, heal, and tank. If you mean they can’t both range and melee dps, that wasn’t the point. Let Shaman tank, every other hybrid can.

Unleash the true power of the elementals! Atleast add a glyph or something to change the animation.

Its already coded, just tie it in!

Why did they listen to the people that were crying. please give shaman the lightning bolt they deserve. Looking at some of these horde npcs casting lightning bolt would make anyone jealous. why do the players have a worse version than npcs! fix!
