Petition for separate pvp/pve plunderstorm

sign up here if you think the pvp and pve stuff should be separate from each other. personally im not a fan of pvp, i barley learned any of it during DF and now i have to relearn it all over again. did blizz just not think this through? pvp and pve should always be kept separate. seriously to all the super op pvp veterans do you really want us lame pvpers queing up for stuff? i highly doubt it, you will loose.

How exaclty would a PVE battle royal work?

Would there be a raid boss in the middle that kills everyone and the person that stays away longest wins?

You don’t have to “learn” anything because we’re not using our characters, not even have classes in this mode. You pick up a power, you use it on monsters and/or players, and pick up another power, etc.

Same way this ones gunna work

Poorly

pvp players get something and the pve’er cries about it.

Did you? It’s a last man standing event.

Meh. I’ll give it a try before I pass judgment

I’m not much of a PVP’er, however, I am looking forward to this. I think it is exciting that Blizzard is trying new things with the game.

Is it that people just can’t take the ego hit of losing to another player or what?
Like what is the appeal of a PvE version of this over a PvP version? It’s not like you’re dealing with the same burden of knowledge that retail PvP has. Nobody has 19 years of plunderstorm experience on you. It’s a very simple game mode.

This is a party game. Even multi-r1 players are going to be handed immediate losses due to RNG. They’ll get focused by everyone, or they’ll have bad luck with abilities. Meanwhile some newbie who’s never PvPd in retail will luck out and get a max tier fire tornado attack or whatever. And then the next game things will reset. It’s just a chill fun party game.

Plunderstorm isn’t using any class design from Dragonflight; they’re new abilities (I think twenty in total) and playstyles.
