So a friend recently bought me Cap’n Crackers. I bought Mischief before and there’s a special /emote you can do and he’ll sit on your lap. I tried a few things with Cap’n Crackers and found /whistle makes him sit on your shoulder.

Has anyone found other pets that do special things when you /emote them? Just curious.

Not an emote, but still a nice suprise. My favorite BfA pets are time travelers and can be seen happily running around my Mengarie lol.

Oh that’s neat. I have yet to get any BFA pets, I really should work on that.

There’s over 100 pets that have special interactions. Some will respond if you target /dance (humanoids) at them, or /whistle (2 parrots) or /roar or /sit (cats). Others will kill nearby critters. Or go over and drink dark iron mugs if you toss one on the ground (disgusting ooze + jubling).

You can filter for the battle pets that have an interactivity (be it with players, environment, other pets, emotes, etc.) on WarcraftPets:

There are currently 122 pets that have an interaction of some sort or another.

One that fits especially for today, the Plump Turkey will jump into a nearby cooking fire and roast itself. Another favorite is Stinky who if he spots someones Bombay or Black Cat out will chase it all over like Pepe le Pew.

Can also use Ragnarok and Pierre to cook with if doing the seasonal pilgram activities.
