Hey you all. I’ve been enjoying the Clefthoof for tanking, but man, the things are so big. I usually run with animal companion and I got the glyph to shrink the main pet but does anyone know of a way to shrink the second pet?
Unfortunately there aren’t any new ‘smallish’ clefthoof models out there either.
According to wowhead comments, there isn’t any way of shrinking the AC.
Funny thing with clefthooves. On this hunter I tamed Banthar in Outland. He was HUGE
MONDO
SUPER
HUGE
After I tamed him he became small. Still slightly taller than a gnome but not comically bigger.
Somewhere I also tamed a bat which was a tiny little thing, and when I call it, its a bat on FRICKEN 'ROIDS! What the heck did the stable feed that thing???
But my porcupine, feathermane and some others became very small, cute and adorable (like me).
I just went out and dropped like 35g on the glyph and while I think it made a difference in some pets, its not a big difference. My hawk and scalehide are noticeably smaller, but other things I just can’t see any difference, like my bat.
I tend to go the opposite direction, I use Kibbler Bits to make my pets bigger and when I do go BW I also Pop http://us.battle.net/wow/en/item/142265 to make the pet even bigger…
The Sunset Amber from The Crowns of Opulence will work on a pet. Given you can only get one gem a day and there is only a 1 in 6 chance of it dropping, this is not an efficient or ideal way to farm said item.
