Pet Macro?

I’m looking to see if it’s possible to have a button that uses a pet attack based on which demon is summoned.

#showtooltip
/startattack
/petattack
/cast [pet:wrathguard] Felstorm; [pet:shadow succubus] Seduction;

Something along those lines if it’s at all possible.

I like to keep my Wrathguard out in Demo and this macro on my action bar.

#showtooltip Felstorm
/startattack
/petattack
/cast Pursuit
/cast [pet:wrathguard] Felstorm;

However, I will sometimes use other demons and would like to swap out that nasty “?” button on my action bar by having the macro use one of their spells.

The spell name you’re looking for is Command Demon.

/cast Command Demon

Does whatever the main ability is.

Thanks but no. The Wrathguards Command Demon ability is Axe Toss and that’s just an interrupt. I’m trying to macro in specific pet spells.

This is literally exactly what you’re requesting. Not sure why you need to isolate each individual pet spell when having most on auto-cast will perform sufficiently. Each person CC ability is already macrod for you via the Command Demon spell, which is really the only thing you need to manually use. You will gain zero performance by attempting to cast your own spells while attempting your pet’s rotation. Talk about trying to micro-manage…

If you absolutely want to then you can keybind the pet abilities from your pet bar. The hot keys will remain for any pet you summon, as long as you rearrange each pet’s abilities to align with the keybind you would like.

I’m sorry, you don’t understand. I’m not sure why you’re posting? I literally posted why Command Demon isn’t it… Keybinding the pet bar also defeats the purpose of creating a macro.

I placed the Wrathguards Felstorm ability on my bar so I control when it uses it. I’d like to macro other pets abilities in so when I swap demons it changes from Felstorm to Seduction, etc.

Yeah, I just came back from looking break from playing and figured this out as well. Even had the same argument/confusion about it but in trade chat lol.
