Pet Journal is locked by another user on this Account

So. I have 3 accounts, all attached to the same Battle.net. I use all 3, all the time. My son will play on one account, while I am online on another. When we are both online, I get this message constantly. Only I do Pet Battles, he doesn’t even collect pets.

The only way to get this issue to stop, is to have him completely log out and close down his WoW Client, and then I have to /reload. When I come back online, the issue is gone, but my Pet Heal spell is on it’s 8 minute cooldown timer.

He does not have the Journal open, nor does he ever do any pet battles.
I submitted a ticket, but they just told me to post here, incase others have the same issue.

Only one license can have access to battle/companion pets at a time. It will always be the first license to log in to the game.

Is your son logging in to play before you? If so, that would be the reason you are seeing the message. When you have him log out, then you are the only one online and then his license becomes the second to log in. At that point, he would be the one receiving that message should he try to do a pet battle or summon a pet.

Problem is that Blizzard considers all the same battle.net accounts to be same person. Also means if you do some once-per-account daily or weekly, locks your son out of doing it.

Only out is making a separate battle.net account, which means can’t use same credit card for billing and additional annoyances.

You don’t have to log out to get pet battling priority.
Healing your pets does it, (once your son is logged out,) using either a bandage or your pet heal spell. Rematch prevents me using the pet heal spell this way, but it’s easy enough to just momentarily untick it.
