Pet "intelligence"

I posted this same thing in the DK thread, but I wanted to get hunters opinion as well.

Does anyone else play both Unholy and a Hunter. Recently I have been leveling up my Unholy DK and I found that the best seemed to be much smarter than my Hunter pets.
My DK pet gets stuck on so many less obstacles and does a much better job staying next to me during jumps from platform to platform. I noticed that often if I jump off something my hunter pet will run a path to me using the path that I should have taken while my dk pet will just teleport to me.
I haven’t played warlock, but has anyone that plays a warlock notice the same thing?
Its very interesting anyone have a similar experience?

Sometimes when im about to start hitting the tentacles before Taloc my pet just stop working, sometimes he just teleport to my side. I may need to re summon it sometimes but elevators are a big issue for pets brains.

To be honest, im quiet pleased with the AI, but its far from perfect and it may be a real pain for devs to actually develop a better AI.
