Pet for Down Under

I believe Wow can totally create a new pet and have donations go to help those in Australia. A lot of players are Aussies and getting some funding to them would be great. It would give a chance for those who feel they can’t do anything to help to give a little.

Yes, I’d love a new charity pet! No sarcasm in there. But we saw the :poop:show the last one made all because there’s a cap on the total donation.

I want all the pets!

It boggles my mind that some people complain about charity pets.

Platypus, koala, redbreasted cockatoo, tasmania devil, wombat…they have soooo many amazing animals. I’d rather see them release a whole theme of them to pet battle and tame myself.

This is a great idea. A pet and mount of which the proceeds to be donated to Aus.

I’m not sure who exactly in Aus it should be donated to, though. Sorry but I don’t trust your pols. I don’t trust any of them, anywhere.

Or an emu? Or does losing a war to them leave a sour taste in aussie mouths?

I have to ask. Are Emu’s like demons to stralians?

Pets are nice and all but I’m sure there’s plenty of charities outside of WoW that ya’ll can donate to.

The money would be best donated to the RFS.

It’s been pretty scary here in Australia for over six weeks now. In November the school I work in was evacuated, and we had a lot of very scared little children to help get safely home so their parents could either evacuate or put their Fire Plan in action. Since then the fires in my area have been unrelenting, we are surrounded by a Pacman shaped wall of fire, and the RFS keeps holding it off from reaching the towns.

But the bushfires are in inaccessible areas, so the only way to fight them is with helicopters and planes.

We haven’t had rain in months, and we are on the highest water restrictions, so we have to let our gardens die, which create fuel for ember fires. My yard is filled with burned leaves.

Hopefully we’ll have rain next week. Things are bad in Victoria atm, it’s horrible.

It’s been 48 Celsius today (118.4F) I just want some cool, wet weather!

Thanks for thinking of us all here, burning away in the apocalypse that has become our beautiful country.

No, we love them! My Mum and Dad had a pet Emu when they were young, he followed them everywhere, and was very loving.

El Niño year?

Apparently, yes. It’s been the hottest year, and the driest, in a long time.

And the windiest! I’m not sure why, but the winds, every day, have fanned the flames with brutal, increasing devastation.

Apparently, Australian bush land is supposed to burn, our Eucalyptus trees are flammable, and many of our most beautiful Flora does not propagate without being burned.
