What pets are in demand that usually sell at 50k or above?
Ones that aren’t really farmable.

TCG pets, some raid pets from more recent content(pre-legacy, so pets that may drop in legion raids, there isn’t a raiding-with-leashes series out for this expansion though)
or recently released Raiding-with-leashes pets (also will have to wait for this, since the last batch came out a good while ago) out-of-production store pets like Guardian cub (not sure if there’s others)
rare world drops (1% or below), preferably from newer content since the rares from old typically only fetch 15-30k.
I also just wanted to point out. If you plan on selling Battle Pets in-game, Make sure they are at least at Level 25. Reason this is because I’ve noticed Level 25 Battle Pets sell for more gold than a lower level Battle Pet.
They sell for more, when they sell, but leveling is not an issue at all and if the person doesn’t already have a level 25 pet, they can’t learn a level 25 pet they bought off of the AH.
they do sell for more on successful auctions, but i have seen that they are less likely to sell than level 1s. many pet collectors don’t enjoy pet battling itself, and you need a level 25 in your journal in order to add more. There are also RPers who do not level their battle pets and are looking for specific pets.
Personally i’m kind of surprised that not all pet collectors have 25s since the stones are relatively easy to obtain, but it is the case.

I sell a lot of pets. The level of your pets is generally irrelevant and not worth leveling them up to sell.

Off the top of my head, I’d say Kovok. Super low drop chance from a next-to-last encounter in a really long and time-consuming raid.
Get your hands on one, and it’ll sell for a large chunk of gold.
Also the green, blue, and black whelplings I think still sell for a good bit, if you don’t mind a lot of grinding.
Lil’ Bling that has a random chance to drop from Blingtron 6000.
Venila raid and tbc raids drop rare pets. If get lucky there are 4 that in high demand and rest sell very decent. But drops rate are very low. Bfa dungeon also has two one near it by the dwarfs and other a rare white golem. But man they rarely are there.

You mean Knockoff Blingtron. Lil’ Bling is so worthless I have a dozen I can’t sell.
It depends a lot on your server. I play on a horde dominated used-to-be PVP server, and it’s quite difficult to move pets here, even when undercutting by huge amounts. A while back I dumped a ton off on an alliance dominated RP server, and just used the gold on subscription tokens. The prices were lower there, but they actually sold.
Selling pets is always quite finicky. There is a lot of competition. If you really want to sell a pet you better be parked outside the AH and constantly upping your pet once someone undercuts you by 1 copper.
Lich King drops 2 different pets, one from normal only mode and one from heroic only mode. A lot of time players farmed heroic mode for the mount which is also quite rare so very few bother to farm normal ICC. Drudge Ghoul tended to sell for about 10x more than Wicked that drops off heroic Lich King.
