Anyone know with the change coming too Warbank and being able to craft from it, and seeing you can store pet battle stones in the Warbank is it going to be possible to use the pet stones from the Warbank without having to have them in our bags now? If not wouldn’t that be a great thing…my poor little Gnome has 3 36 slot bags full of pet stones I use to upgrade my new pets as I get them…
I dunno about stones, but I appear to have used a polished pet charm from there, because I bought some bandages (for 5) when my character only had 4 in her bags.
Somehow can’t believe WarBanks will help that much with anything but the Charms.
If you’ want to buy something with Polished Pet Charms, first the vendor takes those from your bags. If not enough, will go to your bank, and if still needs more will tap your Warband Bank. It’s worked this way for years.
The various stones are a different matter. In order to use one of those, it has to be in your bags. From a personal bank, guild bank, or Warbank you can move the stones to your bags but this means either being at a bank or summoning one of the other two to wherever you are. With their 2-hour cooldowns. Doesn’t seem very convenient.
Personally I have one bag mostly filled with a selection of all the stones I might need for the day. Rest sit back in my personal bank.
Well if mats in a Warbank can drawn out to make stuff why can’t those battle stones be used the same way from rematch tab like I do now with all those suckers stuff in my bag…if the recipe profession tab can read and pull mats why can’t same be done with rematch as most Pet Battlers use it …or they could make up tab to pop up like a profession tab…
Reason I’m pessimistic about this ever happening is that it means changing how banks work. Especially now, when Blizzard seems to be struggling with just making banks work right in the first place, very doubtful.
Rematch knows to use a stone from your bag.
There’s a fundamental difference between using charms to buy things and using stones on pets. Buying a pet means clicking on it in the vendor’s list, stoning a pet involves right-clicking on the stone itself. Currently right-clicking on something in your bank means you want to move it into your bags. So how does the system know if you want to move it or to use it without moving it? And implement this in such a way that it doesn’t start confusing players who are doing something other than trying to stone a pet.
