why can’t we just port the old one and let the edit function move it around? the old one worked just fine i just needed to be able to pick what was and wasn’t displayed. now its gone and we have these god awful bars i can’t change the transparency on, can’t have it ‘float’ or whatever the old one did in the first place. it feels like a downgrade in every regard and i’ve MOURNED it since it was taken

I completely agree, at the very least keeping the current personal resource display as an option! I’ve been using it to play with 95% of my ui completely disabled for immersion in solo content and it’s extremly helpful

Agreed, the personal resource area should float right under the character. The current situation is at the downgrade level.

Strongly agree on this. The one we have right now on live works fine and I like it. I don’t know why it had to change into what it is on beta which just looks/feels worse. At the very least have the option for both and let us pick which short term buffs we want to be able to track with it or not.

I wouldn’t even mind if they made it a stationary thing, so long as we could move it. Shoving it there near the middle of the screen with no option to do anything with it is not great. Some of us like keeping stuff away from our character view.

You can move it in the Edit Window but i t can’t be resized there for some reason.

I tried that though. Went into edit, and there was no window to move. Clicked on it, and tried to drag it just in case and nothing. It was just stuck to the left of my character and below the middle of the screen.

Did you make sure you had the Personal Bar selected in the Edit Mode asset list?

I…. Did not think of that. I assumed if it was able to be moved that it would just highlight the box like it did everything else. Lemme go check.

Edit: Yup, user error. I did not even think to check advanced options. Thank you kindly. Still doesn’t fix everything, but at least I can move it to somewhere a little better.

I’m pretty sure the reason they did this was to compliment the CD Manager by making it have weakaura functionality/aesthetic. Not saying it’s good, just saying I think that’s what they’re intending.

Except people very often nest their resource bar around / between their cooldown HUD. It’s just an embarrassing lack of functionality and customisation.

I agre. There is an addon that makes it really nice, but for those who don’t want to use it, it’s just bad as you say. Needs more functionality.

DoT tracking is also just embarrassing.

I agree with the Personal Resource Display issues. It’s a big downgrade.

Most of my casual alts it was more than sufficient, and now barely does anything useful.
It also needs to have the option for it be attached below my character again.

That is the gold swipe. That’s just default DoT tracking using the CDM.

what are you even on that you can’t see imgur links? maybe there is something wrong with your icon rendering on your dinosaur but it looks better
