Personal MMR doesn't matter. Why?

It is 100% different. The player pool at high MMR is much much lower than at lower MMR so you will never experience these type of things ever unless you get to 2800+ MMR. I can’t argue with someone who spends there life arguing on the forums all day, so have a good rest of your night and go ahead and think to yourself that you are right about how high MMR works, even though you have never experienced it once in your entire life.

It’s hard to take you seriously because you clearly don’t know what mmr means if you think you can assume someone’s MMR without actually playing with them in a game or knowing them. I play at higher MMR than you. You play at 2700 MMR (says you) I play at 3100 MMR. There are streams out there with me playing on my main, so by your weird logic I’m superior to you in all knowledge related to MMR. Because that’s how it works right?

Forums would be boring if they did.

I bet they DO, though. They probably have a white board updated weekly with “top 10 complaints” about THEIR game. ( /s )

I feel like this needs to be placed here:

Anyway, it should answer any questions. Good luck, have fun.

This is the fatal flaw, though. You are awarded positive or negative rating based upon your personal MMR. Not as a team. If it works as you say, then the rating gain or loss should be averaged across the team… since, you know, it’s a team based game mode. The way the MMR exists now, it is a black hole. The more you lose, the deeper you fall, the harder it is to get out.

Until they figure out an accurate criteria for assessing a team; SS is the way to go. Unless you are lucky, like Casino level lucky, then by all means, go get that 3k rating in BGB. You should probably go hit the Casino though… get some cash and a 3k rating lol

There is of course another way: Players need to educate themselves on strategies. This probably has the same chance of happening as Blizzard reading these forums or re-working BGB, but it’s the only thing we as a community have control over.
