You pass on thing you don’t want and it goes on a free roll.

Download PLH, it peeks at your party’s gear for you and alerts you when you get drops that they need and you dont.
It also does the reverse so you can automate begging.

Personal Loot Helper.
It’s an awesome addon. Every time something drops (for you or others in your group), it tells you if it’s an upgrade for you or others. Let’s you click a button to request it, or informs you someone else can use it.
If it’s more than one person, I just tell people to roll for it. If something drops for me, I shoot a pm and sometimes get an upgrade.

Did they change that again? I used to like it, but then they added options that couldn’t be dismissed. It was really annoying.
I want to give the gear to the player who needs it the most as an upgrade, not let some enchanter roll on it.
i havent seen that addon used since legion, but when i do i just ignore the person using it, that’s annoying.
e: in regards to the automated begging. If you’re just peeking at stuff and making decisions yourself, sure thats fine

a built in feature that let you automatically put gear up to be rolled for and then give it to the winner would be awesome
I hate getting “do you need that” whispers and I hate resorting to it myself
I agree, I thought of this same thing. Basically just a Need/greed window pops but but instead it’s ‘take’ or ‘offer’ or something. As it is now, you basically have to watch what everyone else gets and be the first one to whisper if you want a higher chance at gear.
