Dear World of Warcraft Support Team,
Good day! First of all, I want to sincerely thank and congratulate the entire World of Warcraft team for keeping the game alive and thriving for over 15 years. I’ve been enjoying this amazing journey since The Burning Crusade, and I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication you’ve poured into the game throughout the years.
That said, I’m writing to report a bug that, while it may seem minor from your perspective, has been extremely frustrating and discouraging for me as a long-time paying subscriber. It genuinely affects my desire to continue playing a game I love—and one I pay a monthly fee to enjoy. If the game were free, I wouldn’t feel the need to raise this concern, but as a paying customer, I believe this issue deserves proper attention.
Whenever I try to use the “Soar” or “static flight mode” on my Dracthyr, it simply doesn’t work. The character only performs the jump animation, but actual flight doesn’t initiate. I often have to press the ability 15 to 20 times before it finally takes off. This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering how complex and lag-prone the new flying system already is—I’m honestly not a fan of the recent flying mechanics, as they add unnecessary complications rather than enhancing the experience.
What’s more disappointing is that this bug has apparently existed for a very long time, as I’ve seen several posts from other players describing the exact same problem. It’s surprising and disappointing that such a persistent issue still exists in a game backed by such a large and experienced development team.
I apologize if my tone comes off as overly direct, but I’ve already tried contacting a couple of Game Masters about this and received nothing but vague, dismissive replies. It’s disheartening to feel ignored—especially when the issue is both persistent and deeply disruptive to my gameplay experience.
Thank you again for your time and continued effort in creating such a rich and expansive world. I genuinely hope this message is read in full and taken seriously. I remain optimistic that a proper solution can be provided without having to feel overlooked once more.
Wishing you all a great day, long life, and continued success. Looking forward to your response and a resolution.
Warm regards
