Asking for a glyph or something to make perma visage is NOT asking to delete dracthyr. This is an OPTION, something that a lot of furry enthusiasts seem to forget when this discussion is brought. A lot of the spells are already functional in visage for a split second before changing form. Spells that use breath can easily be swapped for an animation already used by any classes like the chaos bolt for warlock for example.

Visage rocks, one can only hope. Wish they would give us some info like, is this ever a possibility, because then at least I could bury my wishes.
However, it seems like inevitability as it’s a really easy win without any practical losses. Small amount of work for such gains as there’ve been a lot of people asking for this.

Breaths can just work like Eye Beam, turn into a lizard for the charge and release animations and then back to visage.

I like the idea but I would rather stay in visage form for as long as possible, but it would work for the flying spells
Ah yes, this post is the first of its kind.
Why don’t let them deal with the more important issues of the race. Like for example, still being the only race in the game that cannot tank, before focusing in cosmetic stuff.

Well, the perma visage isn’t much work to be honest. Just use old animations and the Chosen Identity script to change back after breaths. So… why not both?
Tells a lot about how much its wanted, right? If it keeps showing up, it means that people are stlll wanting it to happen instead of it being a “whim”.

Depends on how much work they want to do from scratch. There are a lot of stuff already in the game they can utilize if they’re creative about it. Still less work than whole new spec.
they would probably need to code it entirely from scratch if they wanted permanent visage to work properly as people expect

I would be fine with asset stealing. At least something, anything else than punching out spiritblooms.
EDIT: But yes, if we want quality then its gonna take a while.

At the absolute bare minimum, all the existing code to swap you to dragon form would need to be edited to check for the existence of a glyph, and then you’d need to assign new animations for these abilities to work with both visage races. I highly doubt they would just zero effort crap out a glyph that overrides the drac’thyr transformation and uses janky fallback animations like it does when you are using a transformation item. They would want to do it right, and doing it right isn’t easy.

They should really speed it up. One of the main reasons the Dracthyr population is drying out might be partly because of customization. But mostly because people is getting tired of evoker being the only option available for the race.
Not everyone likes to be a caster (me personally never ever played a caster before till evoker appeared). But while other races have options, Dracthyr don’t. Either you are a caster or be a different race, thats not a good way to promote usage of a new race, forcing people to be a single role they might not enjoy.

While I wholeheartedly support any and all customizations and wish you a glyph for perma visage, I’d love even more if they’d let us pick our visage race in the barber shop (without changing racials ofc, just visual).

I have started to fall in love with my Evoker, really enjoying but yeah I would definitely love staying in Visage form. I mean they could just have wings sprout out the backs like Demon Hunters for any flight animations.
Oh and can we pretty please get separate transmogs for the two forms. Would make building outfits that match the forms sooooo much easier haha.

I sign this petition. Let me take the glyph. Have some wings pop out on hover and zephyr and rescue. I’ll soar and draw breath as a dragon, but pop me back into visage and transmog I work so hard for, please.
