I put this comment in the UI section as it is related to the native WOW chat UI.
So, I’ve searched through forums, looked for Youtube videos and consulted Google but I can’t find any info specifically related to my issue. This isn’t a ticketable issue either so I can’t go that route.
I have started getting chat text for the tasks of other players. I’d still like to see my own, but would like to hide the gathering etc of others. In ‘Chat Settings > Other’ there are some tick boxes which I have now unticked but now my gathering doesn’t appear in chat either. The text appears in blue in the following format:
[Player Name-Server] performs Herb Gathering on [Herb Name].
Can I turn on my own gathering in chat while turning off the gathering activities of others.
