Perfect reason for engineering and Tinker class coexistance

So since the profession revamp gave engineering “Tinker” gems, I figured the idea of a Tinker class was dead in the water.

However, what if we get a mechanic esque class with a different name that solely functions around piloting mech suits.

Could be called Mechanist, or maybe simply Mech Pilot.

So how would they coexist with each other without stepping on each other’s toes.

Well same way BS exist with warriors. BS makes weapons and armor while warriors utilize them.

Put it this way…

In Marvel, Tony Stark is both a Tinker and Mech suit Pilot.

Rhodes is just a mech suit Pilot, yet is formidable in his own right.

Potential specs…

Siege: tank

Medic: healer

Assault: melee dps

Artillery: ranged dps

What would? A mech class?

You don’t like fighting in mechanized suits of death?

Only if they emote cliché anime lines when they use their abilities and then scream the entire fight as they spend the whole time powering up their lazers.

Mechagnome + Marksmanship Hunter + Engineering = Tinker class

Counterpoint: tinker is just a lame idea.

What the hell is up with y’all and “tinker” such a lame idea.

Think you missed the part about piloting combat mechs.

Yeah well, that’s just like, your opinion man.

Rogues use poisons and potions. Alchemist use poisons and potions. Rogues are alchemists.

Mages do magical things, full of enchantments. Mages are enchanters.

Tinkerers use bombs, turrets, mech suits, basically anything mechanical you can imagine could work… and engineering uses bombs. So tinkerers are engineers.

Solution is clear. Remove mage and rogue. Especially rogue.
