Is there any logical reason why a fury warrior would offhand this dagger over literally any other option?
Because warriors like to find new excuses to take every piece of gear to justify easier progression in a game that has been massively neutered already.
(fury prot isn’t needed unless your raid is doing well over 1000 dps average on boss fights)

It’s BiS for threat tanking and also some warriors that arnt humans like to run them and still do better damage then rogues.
There’s no reason to be mad about it. Fury warriors in general are better then rogues and you’ll find yourself getting the shaft in a good guild. Since there is like 8-10 fury warriors in every guild.

Ask any warrior. Or any top guild. All of their threat tanks take Acuria, perditions blade and some warriors take daggers.

If you think I’m lying and since your on my server. Ask Stavis in Scuba Cops or any of the warriors in there.
I’m genuinely curious why a warrior would want to offhand this dagger. It offers no stats and it’s relatively slow.
And there’s much better daggers for mainhand tanking… this is literally BiS dagger for rogues until AQ…

Its one of the best weapons for dw fury.
Yeah I dont get why people have these preconceived notions of what is “X” class’s loot just because of what type of item it is. Look at who gains the what from it, not what sort of item it is.
Non-warriors gonna keep getting madder and madder the closer we get to Naxx and the further they fall behind on DPS.
But its really not. What makes you think it is? There’s way better offhand weapons…
It has 3 items competing with it for offhand: High Warlord’s Cleaver (Which is gonna be out of reach for most.), Viskag, and Deathbringer. Of those two, it is by far the faster weapon giving it a leg up as an OH.
I played fury in vanilla.
That dagger would not have been my 1st choice at all.
Even on a greed roll, i’d have just sold it.
Oh i might play with it on a few mobs for the giggles, but statless daggers don’t do a lot for a warrior.
Oh i wore a lot of kind of odd stuff, trying to maximize DPS and crits
but that aint one of them.
Offensive daggers are a rogue thing.

This dagger is not good for offhand. Distracting dagger is better than this in your offhand…
