Well the reason for prevanish is specifically to ensure you see the other rogue first if you know where he is at. It’s mainly used by non-humans going for humans just because they will never get the first vision without it if they have perception up.
Or in a human vs human situation also very handy. Pre-vanish stealth state > perception.
True, I mentioned that further up. It’s just idk if it’s the server I’ve played on for these last couple years, but alliance characters are just not that common lol. So I have personally rarely had to use it.
Of course when tbc classic hits I’ll probably have to use it a lot more.
Its very useful at lower mmr where pretty much every human rogue is going to pop perception and sprint toward our gate.
I predict a bit of the horde will re-roll alliance for a couple reasons…
- Alliance racial are not bad.
- Better BG Q’s that you need for the offset items.
- Better PVE atmosphere, way way way less toxic.
That’s literally the wrong way to use perception in arena… I can see why that’s tempting but its a waste of its use.
Think alliance bg queues are that much shorter in TBC?
As far as toxicity…I’ve encountered more in Alliance than Horde.
Funny enough on the server I’m on sometimes if you q skirms that’s what you basically end up doing anyway lol. I only say this because I can’t tell you how much times an undead rogue will exit the gate on his mount on ruins and not hit stealth until the tombs. So it’s like “ok man I literally know exactly where you are so I guess I’ll just pop perception and win the game then lol”
Then after the win you always get a pm “LOL HUMAN ROGUE”
all this debate isnt really on topic. I’m just amazed how insane perceptions range is.
It will allow you to get free wins in many games where as WOTF is good vs what? locks that often play with stealth classes?
To me the fact that druid rogue is SO common and human get expertise alliance is sadly the better race in TBC which sucks to find out when you planned out a 2v2 comp as SP rogue
No real counterplay
TAB targeting doesn’t have anything to do with bad graphics.
But yeah, if perception is way overtuned, people will scream out in Forums so, it will get fixed. No alarm.
Statistically speaking almost no one has worked with enough of either faction on their server to be able to say either way, really. You’d need to work with hundreds of guilds and tens of thousands of players across dozens of servers to even begin to come close to an accuracte snapshot of “which faction is more toxic.”
Good experiences just tend to be outweighed by bad ones in our memories. It’s one of the human mind’s many fallacies.
You literally play horde in classic complaining about alliance racials. This is like a white woman saying she was racially profiled at airport security.
Please just play better and deal with it.
I played alliance in classic btw. Relax man
Point still stands
It’s not broken it just has a huge range.
I take it your in beta? Could you do a quick test with a another player to actually show the distances are messed up?
Yeah its strong, but so are horde racials, Will is no joke, its very very good!
If you can’t win or play against a single racial ability then maybe you’re just bad. Ever thought about that?
Wow racist much?
I guess I did always have an irrational hate for undead…
i have glad from old and new expacs and r1… im also high rated in other games. perhaps I am asking because it feels too good
