Perception is actually really good in pvp

Ive personally seen a lot of negative feedback of how useless humans are, but i can tell you, that perception, from my experience can definetely ruin any rogue/druids day. Press the ability, tab spam and insta dot them. Not only does that cancel the openers which is very important for them, but once you kill them due to the lack of stuns/ccs they may likely rage quit the game. Im sure most stealthies will probably think you wont use it because they also think its useless.

And the tip of the iceberg, geared soul link warlock.

I guess that is all based on perception.

Pretty much. I dont think most people realize just how good the ability can be, nor even give it a try. It works for me every time im in bgs, ive even gotten whispers like “how did you dot me when i was stealthed and that far away???” Lol

Personally I think humans are too good.

It’s definitely underrated. Issue is it works against 2 classes. Sure you can count mage invis or invis pots those don’t last that long though.

Now how many classes have a root/snare? or a stun? Hell even dwarves with stoneform have it working against more classes than perception.

Its really strong but suffers a bit from ‘too little too late…’ its not reactive or useful once the rogue gets the jump. Its great if you already know a rogue is around you, but on the short active period and couple min CD, its easy to get little effect out of it.

Better would be something that mitigates rogues—aka Orc racial. Better would be something that breaks CC, aka gnome/UD racial.

Its good, just not as good

Yeah orc racial is pretty good. But orc is pretty ugly (no offense). And besides, theres nothing sweeter than wiping people that has better racials than humans.

I mean yea, I’m playing human and can’t stand playing an orc… but if I could swap perception for their racial I’d do it.

Perception is why you’d play a human Warlock. Stacks with the Felhunter’s Paranoia and Catseye Ultra Goggles. Gives all the UD rogues who consider you a free kill quite a bad time.

On my human mage I prevented alot of rogues opening on me with Perception.

Mages don’t have invisibility in Vanilla.

Don’t let the race perks influcing your choice to much. Just play w/e race you <3 the most.

And invisibility is different to stealth.

Shoot I don’t know they are the only class that I haven’t played at all in WoW.

Well, they do if they like drinking. Oh, wait…

Negative feedback from where? They have an always-on dps increase racial for melee that is great in both pvp and pve. How many talent points do rogues and warriors have to spend to get the same effect as the human racial?

People say humans are bad? Do they not understand how good sword and mace proficiency is? or just how good perception is as an active cooldown? Or even just how good the increased Rep gain is? I need to know what they’re on so i can get me some of that.

A lot of classes can easily reapply snares. EA might have an edge over perception, but it’s not the game changer people make it out to be.

I mean it is. Just don’t use it when the Mage is in the middle of a 2nd frostbolt cast.

No it isn’t, it is more useful is all I was getting at.
