The same people who will say dragonflight is boring is the same people who rushed through quests, getting to level 70 and stopped after that because refusing to do any end game content besides world quests
Honestly, it was one of the things that made Legion great: class specific quests and profession specific quests that made leveling a new character just a bit different.

They said something about bringing back class order halls in that new Preach video where he goes to the Blizzard offices, I really hope that happens, I loved that part of Legion.
Means Blizzard has gotten better.

I’m not sure how people manage to run out of stuff to do, there’s always so much. 
They’re the same people who complained there was too much to do in SL.
I agree about the story, it wasn’t even on my radar since it’s been bad for so long. I quit taking it seriously at the end of MoP, I was really holding out hope that they wouldn’t villain bat Garrosh but they did, then had him time travel, become a quest villain and get kill stolen by Thrall while speaking nothing but straight truths about how dirty the writers did him for no good reason.
I don’t expect anything good out of the story anymore. I’m sure DF will be a disappointment in that regard but I won’t hold that against it because they all have bad stories.
I’m going to miss my “Door of Shadows” covenant ability, It helped me out a ton in SL!
There is more to the game than the BS M+, and raid difficulty grind! Always has been.

If you aren’t going to participate with actual endgame content then you can’t whine about not having anything to do.

I didn’t mind the Garrosh story, but I also read the book, so it added context to it. I did not like the way he was killed though. I thought that was a huge copout, similar to what they did to Arthas, and that is really annoying. Both of those villains had very long histories with the game and it is terrible that they ended their stories in the manner they did. It goes to show the importance of hiring writers who not only understand the characters they are writing about, but the customers and their investment into those characters.
I liked Toghast lol. I just didnt want to be pushed into doing it every week. Maw lived up to its name I think.

This game has always had a mixture of endgame content and not all of it is raiding/m+. The people who complain that there isn’t anything for them to do other than M+/Raiding have a very valid point and because the vast majority of those players are the ones who stick around to pay the bills once raiders have got their kill and M+ players get their achievements - or get bored, the developers should be sure to pay attention to this crowd. Without them and their subs/store purchases, the developers might be looking for other jobs.
Keep in mind that just because you do not like doing other content doesn’t mean others are the same. A well designed game designs content for all their players, not just the select few that believe that end game is nothing more than completing a raid or running the same dungeons a billion times.

There has never been a big endgame outside of raiding, dungeons, or pvp in this game. Players are always welcome to collect things, RP, and chase achievements. There is more to collect than ever before and more achievements to chase than ever before, RP is up to them. This is how it’s always been, except for before achievements were implemented, which means they had even less before to do.
Each new patch and expansion adds even more for solo players to do, each new patch and new expansion adds more to the game than they have ever had before the release of said content.
I’ve been playing this game for a very long time and yes, there has been endgame content outside of raiding/M+/pvp. You just have to go look for it. To say there isn’t demonstrates that you do not really know much about endgame content in this game. But that is ok. You do what you want to do and allow the other people who play this game do the endgame content they enjoy.
