Do they annoy you? I feel like they just try too hard. I mean I always try to win but I don’t think I’m a try hard.
Example here, last night i do a random bg, its bfg. There is this rogue giving out “strats” and it’s the generic “defend mines and win ww” strat so there was no reason to call it out because that’s literally what every random bfg does anyway. After his strat he says we must win the first team fight or is auto loss, well I disagree with that because bfg is one of the easiest bg to make a comeback in, but I don’t say anything.
Ok so he is leading us pugs, he says he is in discord with 2 other players, so I’m thinking “ok we got a super try hard here” . We dominate ww so me and 2 other players got lh( that’s just how I play, I don’t go for safe wins I always try to triple cap) and we hold 6 players back, this rogue starts calling us idots and trash talking us when we are winning by like 700 points, we end up dominating and winning easily but this guy and his possees were calling us bad and saying they carried us.
I just think people like that are so annoying in random bgs. Maybe they should take their coordinated groups and strat calling into rated and stop trying so hard in randoms.

Yes.
Though I really just dislike the perpetual loser crowd.
Ran an ssm on this leveling dude last night 50-59.
Before gates guy says “anyone got a plan?”
So I throw out basic ssm - swap between water and lava, cap both if possible.
They cap lava first, and dude just starts whining about “I thought we were supposed to cap both, well another loss”
Ssm (like bfg) can easily be won by just swapping fast, and that can be improved in game.
But no, cry baby magoo just had to whine whine whine…

Yea those dudes are annoying.
What about the guy that tells everyone to take the underwater cave below the boat to ww? I know someone who does that and I hate him sometimes.

I can’t stand the “rush lh / mines, they’ll never expect it!” crowd.
It’s just such a short sighted plan imo.
You giving them 2/3 (ww and whatever they started with lh/mine) and then you have to win the team fight and cap without them defending and spinning.

Those games though if the enemy team lacks the awareness to turn around and defend their 1st base then odds are they would’ve lost the team fight at ww anyway so if the lh/mines strat works then more than likely the ww strat would’ve worked also.

Yea, it’s just so much more risky.
Any team with decent brain power will see ww empty and just roll back to lh / mines.
I’ve been in so many losses because the team wants to rush lh hard and can’t kill/cap in time before the other team comes back around.
That’s the hardest part - you’re fighting over an already capped node, not an uncapped one.
I prefer the “if we stomp out at ww (like lilly said) then roll right on to the other base and go for the 3 cap.”

There’s an underwater cave there? Well time to go exploring next time I’m in bfg.

I might be called one of those people lol, I don’t try to make a strat or say stuff like wow another loss, I usually just tell people where I think we should go and it works well most of the time, some people even compliment me.Did the same thing in nyalotha recently (explained mechanics to everyone in lfr because 75% of people join without knowing wtf they were doing) and after 4 attempts we finished it. Then someone said it “it would’ve been a lot easier without your b****ing” when I literally explained the fight to everyone and we would’ve taken way longer or the group would’ve disbanded if I did nothing.

Yea you can surprise the enemy team pretty good using it. Bonus points if everyone has their legion fishing pole for the speed increase.

The guy in your example would definitely be annoying. It seems more common that you have people who don’t talk at all that ends up being a problem though. Like oh, someone was taking X, that would have been nice to know.
Or in gilneas everyone is going to WW and you can clearly see that the other team is not, but everyone else on your team seems oblivious to this fact so you let them know that they’re apparently going to take mine/lh and some of you need to go help there instead.
Also, if there’s really an underwater cave in Gilneas I feel like I’ve been missing out on something for several years.

Capturing and defending 3 nodes seems harder than capturing and defending 2 nodes…
But that’s probably why you’re glad and I’m bad.

Why does it bother you that people discuss strategy? There are still new people who might not know, you can turn off chat if you’re so bothered by people trying to be helpful.

Not if you crush them in the team fight, you can end the game with a triple cap if you push them back.
He didn’t call any real strat, he just told us to do what we were already gonna do, and gets mad for being at lh even though we are crushing them. People like that need to chill out or play some rated.

Yeah, I totally can crush the other team. They’re just lucky that I hold back…
:T
I would rather have the guy talking out of his butt than the guy that flips a node and then immediately mounts up and rides away to road fight.

You in this instance means you and your team. I know sometimes you can’t solo a team fight.

I’ve had pugs call for LH assault. Consider how many people don’t know to fight in the circles in mines. I think you’re wrong about the first part but right about the second part. So long as you win who cares what strategy you follow? I’d just put them on ignore, maybe point out before doing so they’ll have 1 less healer for their random queues.
