if there’s one thing that definitely does not happen on the ‘Forever 60’ servers, it’s tanks selling their bodies.

I get it. Playing a rogue is tough. You open LFG and theres 50 rogues there, just hoping to get invited to a group.
How could you hate people who sell services like healing or tanking?
Imagine a fully geared tank. Why would he do your UBRS JED/REND run if hes fully decked? Lol to help the poor rogue out?

Since Blizzard doesn’t know how to secure (2) accounts that have the exact same billing information with (1) phone number, I choose not to link (1) of my (2) accounts to my phone number, so I can’t even use that feature in the LFG Tool.
I still use the authenticator app, which still has a banner stating that the app will be deprecated on 1/1/2024 \o/
If the tank needs things from the dungeon then it is a greedy goofball move.
If the tank is fully geared out and has no reason to tank the dungeon, but is willing to do so then there really isn’t anything wrong with taking a fee to cover repairs, consumes and time that could be spent doing something else like farming. You gotta see it from the tank’s point of view.
Obviously any tank that is charging a fee shouldn’t be rolling on anything and they should be basically carrying you through a smooth and fast run. Otherwise it is dumb to charge.

I’m all for reporting people who boost. To me this is not the same. If tanks are offering a tanking service for 50g for a dungeon you need and they don’t, I don’t see the harm. Clearly there’s a tanking shortage, like there always is, so why not let them offer their services? You get what you want, and the tank gets what they want.
