It has been hard enough to try and grind rating with these ridiculous melee braindeads lobby after lobby…
It has been hard enough to try and grind rating with the lack of any kind of clear communication by the teammates…
But then you add not just leavers, but even worse is the ones who sit there basically AFK for ALL 6 rounds need to have their accounts sent to the shadowrealm. For the first time today, my druid had a reasonably balanced lobby. The MMRs were the same, was a solid mix of melee/ranged. It had all the makings of a good lobby. But the Disc priest just stood in their starting area ALL SIX LOBBIES… ensuring that NO ONE except the other healer got ANYTHING from the match. We reported them, but what does that actually do? They lost half as much rating than if they had left (a net benefit for them), they managed to halt the potential progress of 4 people arbitrarily, and the other healer got a 6-0 that will mean nothing in the next lobby when they actually have to fight…
Unless there is real-time action for someone being mass-reported, there is no reason for them not to just AFK the lobbies. It is the literal definition of sabotaging gamplay, and used to be a bannable offense (and I am sure it TECHNICALLY still is, but is a person actually looking at the reports and acting on them?)
