People that post 200 stacks of 1

People that post 200 stacks of 1 infuriate me Blizzard should do something about this or change the refresh time on your mailbox or something … This is getting out of hand.

They’ve tried making posting mats more expensive and they’re completely out of ideas!

Unfortunately the only option is to join them and download the auction house addon

Couldn’t they just make a stack size search function?

Am I a jerk for finding this funny?

They could, but that would be work. They could also set a minimum stack size for high volume mats or the majority of mats in general (short of epic enchanting mats, being forced to buy 5 of those if you only need one is silly)

I was thinking a minimum stack size for normal mats being set at 20, it’s not too many and not too few.

Blizzard has. You pay a LOT more to post single (stackable) items than full stacks.

I used to sell ores by 5 - as much as you need to prospect for gems - but my stack sizes are larger now. Where possible, I post stacks of 200, at the lowest price-per-unit, and those sell fine without costing an arm and a leg to auction.

Honestly just copy GW2 trading post system Blizz,

You copy so many others things, why is this hard?

I don’t see what’s wrong with this. I sometimes need only 1, not 200.

People will keep doing this until Blizzard implements the ability to buy partial stacks. If I only need 1 of something, I’m not going to buy 20 or 200 of that item.

Nope!
I usually make stacks of 5!
But I also create stacks of 1!
Because I can!

The problem is people posting 200 STACKS of 1 …
This creates massive amounts of pages on the AH.
If you buy alot of these single stacks it fills your mailbox so you have to reload and wait almost 1 min each time you clear out your mail.

No one wants to sit at a mailbox hitting refresh for 10 mins.

I still say that a commodity exchange is a good solution for all stackable items… that’s just me though.

When someone undercuts you by 2 gold, and posts 200 stacks of 1 for 1g cheaper than you…

Yes

Which is best for sorting through trash piles of 1? My Auctioneer is feeling pretty dated lately.

I don’t know how on earth people who don’t use AH add-ons deal.

I use auctionator from the twitch app, it lets you search things up in a separate interface but it has a loading time.

Mods should make life easier to deal with this. Also make it easy to buy them out and repost if you want.

seems simple to me limit the TOTAL number of stacks that can be listed of any single item to say 10 stacks - blizz has no issue limiting you to have “X” of an item so this should be easy to do for them.

They could do this but it would have unintended consequences for sure. For instance people like to buy things in quantities of 1 sometimes and not have to buy in stacks of any particular number.

Having people that post in stacks of one adds liquidity to the auction house.
