Only in Ruin (US) Alliance outnumber Horde 8 to 1. Only in Ruin can you join a random bg at 1am and be 3 Horde vs 10 Alliance. Only in Ruin can Horde lose an insane unlimited amount of matches in a row to Alliance. Only in Ruin you WILL be forced out of your “warmode on” mode everywhere by being constantly assaulted by groups of french canadian named female night elf druids
Battlegroups do matter if you enjoy group pvp, don’t believe the naysayers, there’s a reason realm transfers are still a thing. Pick yours carefully.
Are you claiming that Alliance don’t outnumber Horde in PvP everywhere?
Do you have any evidence for this?
Empyrical evidence by my own personal experience, having chars in both horde and alliance in and out of Ruin (US) and seeing the insane difference of playing a char in it or out of it.
Battle groups are still a thing??
What timezone are we talking here? if PDT than it would have been 6pm my time, welcome to playing against Frostmourne.
sorry for not clarifying, 1am EST
So 3pm my time, Welcome to playing against Frostmourne.
Frostmourne is not in Ruin, nice try though
Battle groups are still a thing??

I just queued into a BG from Barthilas and there is someone from Zul’jin in my group.
If your theory of battlegroups were true, this shouldn’t be the case, there is even someone from Azalon and Illidan in here.
Hmmmm o_O
So you are saying Alliance are outnumbering Horde in random BGS globally by massive numbers to the point that you can have random bgs that start with 10 players in the alliance side and only 3 on the horde side?
BTW I can prove that ^^^ I was streaming last night when it happened.
Then link a link to the clip, I’m actually curious. I have seen this exact thing happen plenty of times in the past. But it has nothing to do with battlegroups. As for warmode… that one is different again.
Battlegroups haven’t been a thing in years lol.
I’m surprised you thought battlegroups were a thing still just going by that clip alone. DH that was on you before you died was on a realm that wouldn’t be on Ruin.
so the horde has rly gotten outnumbered that bad in general???
Could just be more Alliance focusing on PVP atm, and Horde is focusing on PVE, not sure. Anything could be a reason.
I’m told that battlegroups ceased to exist quite some time ago. I seem to recall that when connected realms were introduced they did away with the battlegroup setup.
One reference site I found said:
A Battlegroup is a group of realms whose players can face each other in arena matches. Previously, battlegrounds and Dungeon Finder instances could only bring in players from the same battlegroup, but Blizzard has removed this restriction in US realms and is in the process of removing it elsewhere.
Maybe but it’s more likely WoWs garbage queue system. Even when battlegroups existed you would run into things like that. The queue system has always been trash.
Did the Horde side have a full side of 10 by the time the BG was over? If not then yeah, bugged.
A total of 8 by the end of it…but like, this wasnt isolated…this has been my experience with random bgs in general in zul’jin. If i want to win, i go my worgen druid or my dwarven paladin, because any horde toons are auto cooked
