I feel the need to disagree with your proposed analysis.
Are we talking about Dogs Vs cats
Pizza vs tacos
Uber vs lyft
Coke vs Pepsi
FFXIV vs wow ?

Your entire statement is incorrect. In true GD fashion I will provide no counter-point only this statement of disagreement.

No we don’t.

Do you only want people to agree with you?

(A question, not a disagreement.)

People only click the heart to agree. Its almost like theres little point in trying to make people agree with you given you know how people are apt to respond.

  • A: Agree with the OP.
  • B: Disagree with the OP.
  • (C:) Call the OP a troll and carry on.

Nice bait.

People who agree, click the “heart.”

People who disagree, post.

Because you make a statement tons of people disagree to, doesn’t mean people like to disagree. It could mean you just have an opinion tons of people disagree with…

What the hell? No Coke vs. Pepsi? I’d thumbs down you if I could!

who do you think did not understand this, oh great one?

It’s a forum not an echo chamber. You aren’t here to give press releases. You are making a response on a topic, people are free to respond.

Half the responses I get to what I write is predictable but I get it, though the people replying are ones that like to keep their head in the sand and just hear their own thoughts so it goes nowhere.

when and where did i say ‘people like to disagree’?

There are two reasons to respond to a statement you agree with. One is to clarify or expand on a point, or introduce new evidence to support it. The other is to say “Yup. Agreed.” One of those two things is completely worthless in any conversation.

Besides, if all you want is for yes-types to agree with what you’re saying, why say anything at all? Or, I dunno, have you tried Tumblr?

thanks for explaining that. it wasn’t obvious

Just like your OP, what’s the difference.

Agree to disagree. BAM
