People need to stop hating SL, moreover WoW in general and appreciate what you got IMO

If you hate why X is too much for you and Y is too boring for you that’s fine and dandy

But appreciate the fact that in 16 years Blizzard has kept WoW going while many other MMOs were born and died within 5-8 years or so

There will be a day where Blizzard will announce the final days of WoW, then doomers and gloomers can say their “I told you so xD!!!1!1”

And then there will be a day where everyone is logged in one last time, sitting in wherever their final spot for the last 15 minutes of server shutdown, everyone in game spamming “good bye everyone XOXO” and what not

Then all the things you could have done instead of putting a fit, you’ll then regret it because it’d be too late

And then months later you’ll be praising all the bad expansions and wishing you could have done X or Y

I’m not saying you can’t rant about why SL is bad but for the time being appreciate the thought that Blizzard is still putting out content for a 16 year old game, regardless what content you like or what content you don’t like

The fact that blizzard didn’t canned WoW yet after cataclysm, WoD or BFA should tell you they will still try

WoW was great. SL sucks like it’s its job. And why should I appreciate a company putting out terrible content?

You failed to understand my point

That was hard to read, I never want that to happen. This game has been in my life for 15 years now.

“Appreciate what you got” is what you tell people that get free stuff. WoW isn’t free. Each expansion has a AAA box price on top of a sub fee.

I find your logic kind of sad.

Then you failed to properly explain it.

But what new content exactly have the brought about with shadowlands? Personally i find blizzards constant timegating of content to be disgraceful. I find the constant repetative systems to be dull and just a method to eek out as much playtime from an already jaded playerbase as possible. I honestly see nothing postive with the game in its current state and the game devs deserve every bit of roasting they get for providing us with legion and bfas disabled child.

Just means they think they can still make money off of it.

If there was a game that was perfection in 100% of the player base, every single other game would be killed off

No game can’t please everyone

The only reason people voice complaints about the game, is because they do love it, and have a lot invested in it. If people didn’t care, there wouldn’t be any complaints.

Complaints are also something that other businesses pay a lot of money to get information about. The gaming genre is very lucky to have such a big, vocal customer base, because they have ongoing feedback about what bugs people. Most companies just lose customers, and have no idea why without spending quite a bit of money to find out.

Yes, and no.

Yes, people need to rant/criticise, and yes WoW in general is a very polished AAA MMO.

But, the no comes from the repetition of painful mechanics, and timegating to keep us busy running a hamster wheel so we don’t see how little actual content there is this xpac.

Except most of us have seen it by now. Behind the curtain is Ion, and it looks like he’s out of fresh ideas.

Ok but tell me one new thing they did with this expansion that we havnt already seen? Boreghast is solo island exposset in a worse looking icc tower. Covenants are just class halls with a slight twist. Did you hate azerite power? Well guess what thats gone we now have anima which works in exactly the same way… Do you want another currency to grind? Well go sit in arguably the worst zone ever devised in wow and mindlessly kill mobs untill blizzard arbitarly forces you to stop. Did you enjoy doing 20000000 world quests? Well good news they are back and more useless than ever. This expansion is the most lazy, lackluster experiance blizzard has spunked out and the playerbase have every right to feel robbed.

Shadowlands is a $40 price

Majority of AAA games are $60 or more

I don’t remember having a class ability when joining my paladin class hall

Uhh? What?

Anima most certainly does not work in the same way that Azerite Power did.

Azerite Power gave the player power, Anima does not since it’s only for cosmetics or for near-useless Covenant gear which you replace almost immediately by doing any sort of content.

Then you clearly didnt remember the artifact weapons abilities.

:point_up::nerd_face:

$40 is still a AAA title box price. What is your point? Do you feel like this defeats my argument? If not, why make this statement?

Those aren’t tied to the class hall directly vs the covenant granting you the ability

60$ =/= 40$
