Blizz, EVERY TIME there is a major quest giver for anything, people troll by parking on him. On their bigggest mount. Using toys and items to make themselves larger.
WHY do you persist in allowing people to be mounted in and around these NPCs? You literally feed the trolls. You don’t even have a reporting option for griefing/harassment. I report them as “cheating”.
It would be nice, given the toxic nature of so many players, if you took THREE SECONDS to think about the situations where trolls like to take advantage, and maybe preemptively take actions against it? You already know how to dismount players around NPCs, so why didn’t you do this with Historian Ju’Pa?
And please, also incorporate a zero tolerance policy. Maybe if people actually were punished for being jerks - say…banned for a few days (or in this case, for the duration of the anniversary event) they might think twice before deciding to have their sadistic brand of fun at the expense of the non-toxic player base.
The point is I shouldn’t have to do that. This isn’t someone spacing for a second. They’ve been here for probably an hour or more.
People on the troll’s own realm are spitting on this jerk (yes, the person I’m being subjected to on alt after alt isn’t even on my realm - thanks for that, blizz).
Look, there is a lot of things in life you shouldn’t have to do because of others. If you have a solution for something that takes a second of your time to do, then you’ve solved your own problem. Sure you shouldn’t have to do it, but why care if you DO it?
Stop blaming Blizzard for player actions! It isn’t Blizzard’s job to figure out every way that PLAYERS can troll you and prevent it by adding an extra 23,000 rules to the game.
When this happens, I can still access the NPC right through the
blocking player. Players cannot stop me! So I guess Blizzard has already fixed this.
Don’t talk nonsense. Three seconds? For the entire game? How about 14 man-weeks instead?
