Anyone needing PvP gear to remain competitive in PVE is laughable. Mythic Gear is just fine for not min maxing and slowly obtaining better gear overtime unless your legit a World First Raider.
I dunno, anyone saying that had to PvP S1 to be pve viable was quite cringe. “Better Geared” =/= downing raid content most time it’s just learning the mechanics and rotation.
Wrong tbh. PvP gear didn’t scale down in S1 and the stats on it was bis for multiple specs, plus you could get twice as much gear if you did PvP and keys.
Mythic raiding is a lot harder than people think, it looks easy on stream, but you’re watching the best of the best with the best comps possible for each boss. 90% of guilds raiding mythic need every percent of extra damage from gear just to squeeze by the enrage timers.
