Sure a lot of people buys gold and are too lazy to hustle gold by themselves. However making gold is very easy to do If you do a lot of AH and a lot of GDKP. Gold from GDKP might be dirty tho hence why they need to reinforce gold banning, people are getting lazy AF.

The reality is gold farms are inflated because of RMT, bots from day zero til now, and a shrinking player base.
Anything that isnt a raw gold farm is not realisticly getting you those levels.
Sure you can farm goods/services or work the AH and make thousands of gold per hour. But show me a single raw gold farm. Its just not happening even speed running the dailies on 4 chars for 100 quests at ~15g (quest + vendor). Isnt going to be and you get to do that once a day.

And about 2 months by playing the Ah properly on a non dead realm.
If someone invested farming 1hour a day on a 300gold per hour farm for the entirety of tbc then they would be at 108000 gold just from that extremely minimal effort of goldfarming.
